What keeps us from reaching them...
The Bissa follow the religion of the head of the family. To choose a religion that is different from the family’s is interpreted as a sign of disrespect. In order to remain in good standing in the family, a person is obligated to follow the ways of the head of the family, including his religion. In many cases, the Bissa’s access to the Gospel is restricted by the elder heads of the family who follow Islam or traditional religions.
