Though I live in southern Niger, my people can be found all over the world. We are farmers, shepherds and merchants. We can be found in markets across West Africa. You would recognize us by our elaborate robes and embroidered caps. We are firm in our commitment to remain Muslims, but we also believe in a variety of spirits. A few people have tried to introduce Christianity to us, but we are very resistant to such change.
